Please check the calendar to see all the upcoming events. We need Volunteers for: Mobile Meals Project Committees Fundraising Committees We have many Track Events on the Calendar. Please let Lion Seth know which ones you can help with. Remember, these Track for Life events are one of the primary ways our club raises much needed funds! President’s Goals 2021
1.Service ProjectsMobile Meals. Expand to 5 days delivery(reinstate Friday) by adding 5-6 new providers and 10 new volunteersKidSight. Conduct SPOT screening for LTISD Fall 2021. Have 8 club members trained on SPOTHave 1 Senior Spelling Bee, assuming we can locate an LTISD teacher to conduct itPotential joint projects with LTYA or other youth groups, and incorporating our Lions Youth programs, contests, etc.2.FundraisingTrack meets(3 summer and 1 fall)Dog WalkBingo(if state clarifies process and rules)3.MembershipFocus on local business owners who would partially sponsor someone into the club(business ½, individual ½ )Host a meet-greet event, publicize well4.AdministrativeMeetings end promptly at 7:30 by asking chairs or coordinators to submit reports prior to meetings, and post on website.Monthly board meeting. OUR CLUB MEETINGS ARE NOW AT: All Star Burgers 12921 Hill Country Galleria Bee Cave, TX 78738 Located within the Hill Country Galleria 1st meeting of the month will be club committee and board meeting. 2nd meeting of the month will be a program meeting. Members are encouraged to attend all meetings! Youth Contests
There are 3 contests for Junior and Senior High School age students: Diabetes Awareness Essay Drug Awareness Speech Outstanding Youth See the "Youth Contests" page located under the "News & Events" tab on this website for the Contest Rules and Application files. This is an important Lions activity and opportunity for the youth of our community. Our club needs to set a goal to ensure we have one or more students participate in all 3 of these contests.
