The Lake Travis Lions Club announces the purchase of 2 new AEDs for our community. As a result of the Fat Tuesday Spaghetti and Jazz Fundraiser held on February 5, 2008, enough money was made to buy the 2 requested AEDs. Formal presentations will be scheduled next month to the Lake Travis Community Library and the LTHS Theater Parents for the Theater Wing of the high school. Thanks to everyone who helped support this important fundraiser and helped make our community a leader in Texas in ensuring we have the best chance possible of surviving a heart issue by getting AEDs in our public buildings and emergency vehicles.
